Question: Can I ship personal items in my vehicle?
Answer: We prefer that no personal items are in the vehicle during the transport, but we do allow up to 125lbs of soft items in the vehicle during the transport.
Question: How far in advance do I need to schedule my vehicle pickup?
Answer: The sooner the better! Since our auto transport trucks pick up and deliver vehicles all over the country, we can better schedule your vehicle pickup with advance notice. If you are leaving the area, be sure to plan enough time in advance for your vehicle to be picked up before you depart. If for some reason you cannot be at the pickup, you must make arrangements to have a third party, such as a friend, relative or neighbor release the vehicle to our driver. They will have to sign a release form in order for our driver to load your vehicle.
Question: How long does it take to ship my vehicle?
Answer: Shipping your vehicle within the United States: Our carriers pickup and deliver eight to ten vehicles at all times; traffic and terrain and other unforeseen factors make guaranteeing the delivery date improbable. Allow 5-10 days for the carriers to complete the trip on East to West runs and 3-5 days on shorter routes.
Question: Is my car insured?
Answer: While your vehicle is on our carrier it will be insured according to it's Blue Book Value. Clearly listed on your Shipping Order and Bill of Lading are occurrences that are not covered. On the pick up point, a co ndition report is filled out and signed by both the driver and the person shipping the vehicle; both are given a copy. Upon delivery of your vehicle, the same report is then presented. You should look over and compare the condition of the vehicle to the report thoroughly at that time. If you know that damage has occurred to your vehicle during delivery, you must note it on the report before you sign it. Any claims made after the report has been signed will not be honored.
Question: What happens if I cannot be reached at delivery time?
Answer: We will attempt to contact you 24 hours prior to delivery so you will have more than enough time to make arrangements. If we cannot contact you and/or you are not available at the delivery point, we will keep your vehicle on the truck to deliver at a later date, or we will leave it at a local terminal facility. To avoid additional charges from either of these results, please contact us in advance if you are not available for delivery.
Question: What if I cancel my order?
Answer: Upon setting up the order we would need seven business days to render the service. If we do not find a driver for you within that window we will refund you the deposit for whatever amount that was charged.
